I am a French globetrotter based currently in the UK.
Traveling in India many years back while still working in the French film industry, I discovered the fascinating world of gemstones. I met wonderful people willing to transmit their knowledge to me therefore I stayed in Jaipur a few months to learn everything I could about the universe of stones, from sourcing to cutting.
I now produce unique hand made jewellery inspired by the natural beauty of semi-precious gemstones and fresh water pearls , enhanced by sterling silver elements.
In my more recent work, I have started adding beads I found on my travels through Africa, most of them antique Venetian glass beads and trade beads, many of them hundreds of years old.
I get my inspiration from observing street art and the ingenuity of local people all around the globe. The stunning colour combination of a Sari, the intricate weaving of a wicker basket, the pattern of an African textile....
