Dumortierite And Chrysoprase Necklace
This striking necklace is made with square shaped intense navy blue Dumortierite with a matte finish, paired up with shimmering green Chrysoprase. The colour of the stones is totally natural.
This is another piece inspired by antique Etruscan jewellery.
Dumortierite is one of the three natural deep blue stones used for jewellery, the others being Sodalite and Lapis Lazuli. Its name comes from Mr Eugene Dumortier who discovered it. I get mine from Madagascar.
I have separated each square with small Vermeil gold beads.
The lock is Vermeil Gold as well (18carat gold plated on sterling silver)
The necklace is 48 cm long however I can alter it according to your preferences.
This is a unique piece made by myself in my studio of Richmond London. This is a unique piece. If you decide to order it what you see is what you will get
